The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success.  This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court.  I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2012 9th Grade Boys Most Valuable Player Award is Chase Denham from Blanchester High School.

Chase plays the game at full speed all the time. His intensity at both ends of the court make everyone around him better. He led the team in scoring and rebounding this season. He plays with a high level of enthusiasm and his hustle and energy earned the team numberous extra possessions. Chase also did so many little things that don't show up in the box score. Whether it was defending a bigger post player, diving for a loose ball or jumping to save an errant pass, Chase was always willing to sacrifice for the team. He also accomplished all of these things while playing with an injured knee for most of the season. Congratulations Chase!
