The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplfies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put her teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that his year's winner of the OCA 7th Grade Girls (Shinkle) is Olivia Taulbee from Goshen Middle School.
When the team needed to score, there was no better player to go to than Olivia. She can ball fake and drive, take her defender off the dribble, or nail a three-pointer way beyond the arc. In one game this season, she scored 30 points and had 6 three's in the first half alone. She led the team in scoring and had tremendous court awareness as she was always willing to make the extra pass to a teammate for an easy layup. Congratulations Olivia!
