The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Defensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the defensive end of the court. This player through effort, hard work, and ability is able to disrupt the opposing team and take them out of their offense by shutting down his opponent one-on-one or contributing to his team's success with great help side defense. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2012 OCA 10th Grade Boys Best Defensive Player Award is Kyle Keszei from Glen Este High School.

Kyle is an aggressive, physical player that can do it all on the defensive end. He was always willing to take on the challenge of guarding the best player on the opposing team and his leadership and communication with his teammates on the court was invaluable. Whether it was pressuring the ball in our press, picking up his man full court, grabbing a key rebound, blocking a shot, or coming up with a timely steal, he always seemed to make a play when the team needed it the most. His work ethic has helped him to improve his game immensely over the last couple of years and I'm thankful that he's a part of our program. Congratulations Kyle!
