The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court.  This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score.  I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2012 10th Grade Boys Best Offensive Player Award is Trevon Teague from Winton Woods High School.

Trevon was always willing to take the big shot. This is an impressive and rare quality because not every player wants the ball in his hands at the end of the game; but no matter what Trevon always had full confidence in himself and I had full confidence in him. He was the leading scorer, one of the most reliable three-point and free throw shooters, and one of the leading distributors on the team this season.  He is also an excellent ballhandler who at times was a one man press break. With his work ethic, he has the potential to be one of the top guards in the area. Congratulations Trevon!
