The winner of the Most Improved Player Award is...

The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 OCA 7th Grade Most Improved Player Award is Peter Kroeger from St. Andrews-St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
 

Nobody came out of their shell to improve their game more than Peter did this year. He came in as a shy, quiet player who was lacking an aggressive mentality on the court. As the year progressed, Peter became a presence down low that other teams struggled to match up against. He has an impressive ability to time his jumps for rebounds that few kids at his age have. There were times when Peter would come out of no where to get a much needed rebound and put it back in. With his physical make up and newly refined aggressive style, Peter will only continue to improve. Congratulations Peter!
