The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 OCA 10th Grade Most Improved Player Award is Hunter Hoffman from Glen Este High School.
Hunter was the ultimate team player and improved his overall skill in playing defense, physical play, ball handling/passing and his offensive game. Hunter matured physically and mentally and was also the most positive player on the team; always encouraging his teammates. Hunter led the team in assists and assists to turnover ratio of 2 to 1. He was third in steals and increased his FG% and FT%. Hunter was never asked to score but raised his scoring average from the beginning of the season to the end. Whether at practice or a game, Hunter always gave 100%. Congratulation Hunter!
