The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Defensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the defensive end of the court. This player through effort, hard work, and ability is able to disrupt the opposing team and take them out of their offense by shutting down his opponent one-on-one or contributing to his team's success with great help side defense. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 OCA 10th Grade Boys Best Defensive Player Award is Isiah Bostic from Turpin High School.

Isiah played every minute with great intensity, desire and effort. Whether we were at practice or a game, you could always count on Isiah giving 100% effort. Isiah played great help-side defense; either switching screens or reading passing lanes for a steal. He was also our best on-ball defender and always provided great ball pressure. Isiah led our team in steals and could always be counted on to hustle down the court to make a key defensive stop by blocking a shot or causing a turnover. Congratulations Isiah!
