The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 10th Grade Boys Best Offensive Player Award is Chase Denham from Blanchester High School.
When it came to playing offense, no one was more effective than Chase. He has an uncanny ability to score the ball around the basket. We relied on Chase to be our main offensive presence in the post and he always rose to the occassion. Chase led our team in scoring, offensive rebounding and free throws attempted and he accomplished all of this despite playing most of the season with a bad hamstring and quad; which eventually cut his season short prior to the AAU Nationals. This is a testament to his heart and desire. Congratulations Chase!
