The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2013 OCA 7th Grade Most Improved Player Award is C.J. McCulley from Fayetteville Middle School.
The level of competition that we played might have surprised C.J. at the start of the season, but as the year went on he really began to put everything together. He improved in all facets of the game and became much more aggressive. He blocked out very well when fighting for rebounds. C.J. was also one of the better passers
and perimeter shooters on the team. The more he practiced, the better his all around skills became. I expect C.J. to have a great season with his school team this
year and continue to improve in all areas of the game.
Congrations C.J.!
