The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2014 7th Grade Boys Most Valuable Player Award is Michael Boon from Royalmont Academy.

Michael did a little bit of everything for our team this season. He led the team in scoring, field goal percentage, and was one of our leading rebounders. Whether it was defending a bigger post player or a smaller guard, Michael did whatever it took to get the job done. He could score inside and outside was also a very good passer. Michael was truly a complete player who made everyone around him better. Michael also represented our program in a first class manner on and off the court. I expect Michael to have a great season with his school team this year and continue to improve in all areas of the game. Congratulations Michael!
