The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2014 8th Grade Boys Most Valuable Player Award is Jacob Wells from Williamsburg Middle School.

Jacob was second on the team in scoring and led the team in rebounding and blocked shots. He was a consistent presence on defense deterring our opponents from attacking the paint. Jacob consistently worked hard in practice and is determined to work his way into the varsity rotation at his school. I am confident that Jacob has a very bright future ahead of him on the basketball court. Congratulations Jacob!
