The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2014 OCA 10th Grade Most Improved Player Award is Logan Sherrick from Anderson High School.
Logan is a great example of having the attitude of you can never spend too much time in the gym. Logan is a gym rat, and his work ethic has led to his vast improvement this summer. At the start of the spring it was very evident to Logan and the coaching staff what is areas for improvement were. Not only did Logan attack and improve his weaknesses this spring, he turned them into major strengths! Because of Logan’s desire to improve he has put himself in a position to be a major contributor on the Varsity squad at Anderson High School. I know this is only the beginning of Logan’s ascent to being a productive
guard in the ECC. Congratulations Logan!
