The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2014 10th Grade Boys Most Valuable Player Award is Collin Fryman from Glen Este High School.

When you talk about the value a person brings to a basketball team, sometimes it’s the items that don’t show up in a stat book. It’s the little things that have guided Collin to being the MVP of our 10th grade team. As a point guard, it is crucial that your teammates have complete faith in you and Collin's teammates did. His teammates trusted that Collin, in good or not so good situations, would have the confidence to not fold under pressure. He exhibited the kind of leadership on and off the floor, which was undeniable to anyone who watched us. He was our floor general! I look forward to great things

from Collin during his school season as he prepares to

take over as the floor general for Glen Este High School.

Congratulations Collin!
