The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2015 OCA 10th Grade Most Improved Player Award is Jacob Meader from Goshen High School.

This was Jacob's first year of AAU basketball, and I could tell at the beginning of the season that he was trying to get used to the pace of the game and the level of competition that we face on a game to game basis. However, Jacob continued to improve each and every game he played and as his confidence and aggressiveness grew, so did his playing time. He became someone that I could count on to rebound the basketball and play great post defense and he was a key contributor to our team's success this season. Jacob is a hardworker and a very good basketball player, but most importantly he's a great person. He represented our program in a first class manner on and off the court.

I enjoyed coaching Jacob this season and I look forward to coaching him again next year. I expect him to have a fantastic Junior

season at Goshen High School and to continue to improve in all

facets of the game. Congratulations Jacob!
