The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2016 7th Grade Boys (Webster) Best Offensive Player Award is Colton Vaughn from Eastern Brown Middle School!

Colton was one of our team’s main options on offense. More than one coach told me before they played us, that their team watched Colton in warmups and were scared to guard him. The attention that he received from opposing defenses created passing lanes for his teammates. Colton is a versatile scorer who made his teammates better through his tough play inside and he was always willing to make the extra pass. Congratulations Colton!
