The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2016 OCA 7th Grade Boys (Moore) Most Improved Player Award is Casey McCluskey from Loveland Middle School!

Casey worked hard throughout the season to learn the areas on the floor within the offense where he would get open shots. In the second half of the season he became a consistent contributor for our team. Casey loves the midrange shot and would shoot then step to get back on defense because he was confident that it was going in. He earned a starting spot many games for playing tenacious defense and making the right basketball play. Casey led by example through his effort and always congratulated his teammates for their successes and had a positive attitude when things weren’t going well in a game. Congratulations Casey!
