The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2016 OCA 9th Grade Boys (Rudolph) Most Improved Player Award is Gage Boone from Eastern Brown High School!

Gage impacted the game as soon as he stepped on the floor. He is a very good perimeter player that is a zone buster. He has a good understanding of the game and sees the floor well. Gage’s attitude and basketball IQ will help him to continue to improve in the future. No matter the situation or circumstances, he never complains. Gage is a great example for his younger brother as well as all of the players in our program. Congratulations Gage!
