The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2016 11th Grade Boys (Callahan) Most Valuable Player Award is Brady Funke from Loveland High School!
Brady is an extremely skilled player that makes everyone around him better, but it's his competitive nature that sets him apart. He will do whatever is required to help his team win the game. Whether it's diving for a loose ball, taking a charge, grabbing a key rebound or knocking down a big shot, Brady always seemed to rise to the occassion in the big moments. At the AAU National Championship Tournament, he scored 18 points in our final game against the G.O.S.H. Warriors from New York to help our team finish 5th in the Nation!
I enjoyed coaching Brady this year and I expect him to have a fantastic Senior season at Loveland High School and to have the opportunity to continue his career on the next level. Congratulations Brady!
