The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 8th Grade Boys (Hoffman) Best Offensive Player Award is Ryan Boone from Eastern Brown Middle School!

Ryan is a very good perimeter shooter who can pull up from anywhere. He is also extremely quick; which allows him to drive past his defender and get into the lane to score or to set up his teammates for easy baskets. This combination makes it very difficult for the opposing team to defend him. Ryan made a lot of big shots for us this season and was one of our best free throw shooters as well. He is a hard worker who is constantly striving to improve his game. I'm excited to see Ryan continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Ryan!
