The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 8th Grade Boys (Hoffman) Most Valuable Player Award is Ian Ashcraft from Nagel Middle School!

Ian was vital to the success of our team this season. He was at or near the top in just about every statistical category for our team. He is able to change the game for his team on both the offense and defense ends of the floor. His ability to score, defend, block or alter shots and run the court make him the complete package for a young post player. Ian was also one of our most committed players and is an extremely hard worker. He listens and accepts coaching very well and always represented our program in a first class manner. I'm excited to see Ian continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Ian!
