The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 8th Grade Boys (Moore) Most Valuable Player Award is Brayden Sipple from Blanchester Middle School!

Brayden is a versatile scorer that can knock down shots from the perimeter, beat his man off the dribble and can score inside with both hands. He uses the shot fake extremely well and is an extremely unselfish player that is always looking to set his teammates up for easy baskets. Brayden led the team in scoring this season and he did so without requiring the ball in his hands all of the time. This demonstrated both Brayden's and his teammates' willingness to share the basketball which created a team first mentality. He also led our team in rebounding and is a versatile defender that was willing and able to guard any position on the court to help our team be successful. Brayden is a very hard worker and I'm excited to see him continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Brayden!
