The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has made significant strides in his game from the beginning of the AAU season to the end. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and will to win that he brings to each and every game. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 OCA 10th Grade Boys (Callahan) Most Improved Player Award is Logan Sartain from Loveland High School!
Logan improved on both ends of the floor as the season progressed. As he became more comfortable within our offense and defensive scheme, his game really flourished. He became a much more effective offensive player and a reliable rebounder. Several times in the second half of our season, his energy and shooting ability helped lead us to victories against some very good teams. Logan is a very coachable player who is always working hard to improve in all aspects of his game.
I enjoyed coaching Logan this season and I'm looking forward to watching him play for his school team this year! Congratulations Logan!
