The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2017 10th Grade Boys (Callahan) Best Offensive Player Award is Eric Hoeffel from Madeira High School!

Eric is a true matchup problem for opposing big men because he can score in the post and he can step out to the perimeter and knock down shots from behind the arc. Eric was near the top in several statistical categories for our team this season. He was one of our leading scorers and three point shooters. In one game this season, he knocked down 6 three's! Eric also is a very good free throw shooter; which is a valuable weapon late in games.

I enjoyed coaching Eric this season and I'm looking forward to watching him play for his school team this year! Congratulations Eric!
