The winner of the Best Offensive Player Award is...
6/29/2018by Coach Moore

The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 6th Grade Boys (Moore) Best Offensive Player Award is Conner Moore from Goshen Middle School!

Conner did an excellent job of providing scoring and setting the tempo for our offense from the point guard position. His energy was a big reason that we outscored our opponents in 21 out of 29 games in the second half. Conner is a very versatile player that can score off the dribble or in catch and shoot situations from the perimeter. He does a good job of taking care of the ball and if he does make a turnover, he automatically picks up his defensive intensity to help his team regain possession. Also, Conner does a great job of pushing the ball in transition and fastbreak situations; which creates easy scoring opportunities for his teammates. I'm excited to see him continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Conner!
