The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Defensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the defensive end of the court. This player through effort, hard work, and ability is able to disrupt the opposing team and take them out of their offense by shutting down his opponent one-on-one or contributing to his team's success with great help side defense. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 7th Grade Boys (Red) Best Defensive Player Award is Justyn Fuller from Felicity Middle School!

Justyn’s athletic ability was second-to-none on the team. When the other team had a player we struggled with, Justyn was given the task of guarding that player. He often frustrated the other team's best player and forced their offense out of sync. There were several times that he'd get a steal and use his unbelievable speed to dribble past defenders for a wide open lay up in transition. He was a big part of our success this season. I'm excited to see Justyn continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Justyn!
