The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 7th Grade Boys (Red) Best Offensive Player Award is Evan Reppeto from Kings Junior High School!
Evan was the most consistent offensive player on our team this season. In games where our offense was struggling to find its groove, Evan remained focused and provided the spark we needed to get back on track. He is a versatile player than is a threat from anywhere on the court. Also, his ability to cut to the basket and move without the ball opened up scoring opportunities for his teammates and put the defense on their heels. He was a big part of our team's success this season. I'm excited to see Evan continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Evan!
