The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 7th Grade Boys (Red) Most Valuable Player Award is Carson Miles from Georgetown Junior High School!
Carson was the unquestioned leader of our team. He excelled on offense, leading the team in points and he never missed the opportunity to make a pass to an open teammate. He also excelled on defense, leading the team in blocked shots; with a few entertaining ones against much bigger players throughout the season. Carson led by example in games and at practice. He always gave great effort, listened, and was very coachable. He represented our program in a first class manner on and off the court. I'm excited to see Carson continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Carson!
