The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 8th Grade Boys (Garrett) Best Offensive Player Award is Trey Gardner from St. Louis School!

Trey is a force inside, but he also expanded his game this season and became a very good shooter from 12-15 feet. He also has the skill and speed to put the ball down and beat his man off the dribble. He runs the floor well and is often out in front in transition and fast break situations. Trey rebounds well and extends many plays by going hard to the offensive boards. He always seemed to make a play when our team needed it the most. I'm excited to see Trey continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Trey!
