The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 8th Grade Boys (Garrett) Most Valuable Player Award is Oliver Harris from Highlands Middle School!

Oliver was our do everything guy. He had games where he carried our team by totally dominating our opponent on both ends of the floor. Even though he was undersized in most matchups, he is a great inside player. His effort and tenacity on the boards is unmatched. He also developed some range in his jump shot and was able to go out and play the perimeter as well. He has great passion, works extremely hard, and was a big part of our team's success this season. I'm excited to see Oliver continue to improve as a basketball player. Congratulations Oliver!
