The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 9th Grade Boys (Johnson) Most Valuable Player Award is Mason Mueller from Loveland High School!
Mason worked hard on both ends of the court. He directed his teammates on the offensive end and always sprinted back to play lockdown defense. He is a very good shooter, but was also willing to pass up a good shot for himself for a great shot for his teammates. Simply put, we were a better team when he was in the game because he made everyone around him better. On the defensive end, Mason played aggressive and forced a number of turnovers. I am excited to see Mason play in high school this season! Congratulations Mason!
