The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 9th Grade Boys (Smorey) Best Offensive Player Award is Ethan Owens from Milford High School!

Ethan was one of our most consistent offensive players this season. He is an excellent shooter that can pull up from anywhere and can also put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket when needed. He is also a very unselfish player who does his best to put his teammates in a position to succeed. Ethan was at his best in tight game situations. He was a clutch performer for our team and a big part of our success this season. He is a leader and was a joy to coach. I’m excited to see Ethan continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Ethan!
