The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 9th Grade Boys (Moore) Best Offensive Player Award is Theisen Lee from Moeller High School!
Theisen has been a force driving to the basket during his first 2 years with OCA. This year, he improved his pull-up jump shot, both inside and outside of the three-point line, and was very consistent from the free throw line. However, he is at his best when he is attacking the basket. He is able to use both hands to finish high around the basket in traffic. Also, his ability to bring the ball up the court off the dribble after a defensive rebound fueled our transition offense. I’m excited to see Theisen continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Theisen!
