The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 9th Grade Boys (Moore) Most Valuable Player Award is Ben Knostman from Tipp City High School!

Ben was a great addition to our team this year. He plays with great effort on offense and defense and was a big part of our team’s success. Ben is a very craft player that changes speeds very well to gain an advantage on his man and when the help defense comes, he does a great job finding his teammates for easy scoring opportunities. As the season progressed, he proved that he was a very effective catch and shoot player from the three-point line as well. Ben was also a major factor for our team on the defensive end of the floor as well. He used his quickness and length to make life difficult for opposing guards. I’m excited to see Ben continue to grow as a basketball player. Congratulations Ben!
