The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team, but is willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 10th Grade Boys (Callahan) Best Offensive Player Award is D.J. Vianello from West Clermont High School!
D.J. was vital to our team’s success this season. He is a versatile player that can play multiple positions and can score from anywhere on the court. D.J. played point guard in our last game of the season due to an injury to one of his teammates and scored a season high 28 points to lead our team. D.J. was one of our most consistent offensive players. Overall, he averaged 12.2. points per game and scored in double figures in 18 games this season. D.J. is also a strong rebounder on the defensive glass and did a great job of starting our fast break. I enjoyed coaching D.J. this season and I’m looking forward to watching him play for his school team this year. Congratulations D.J.
