The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. This player has talent, intelligence, work ethic, and leads by example on and off the court. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2018 11th Grade Boys (Callahan) Most Valuable Player Award is Noah Pack from Georgetown High School!
Noah is an extremely skilled player on both ends of the floor. He was at or near the top of almost every statistical category for our team this season. He led our team in scoring at 15.1 points per game while shooting 57.1% from the field! He was also first on the team in rebounding (8.3 rpg) and blocks (2.4 bpg). I had a Division 1 college coach tell me that “what he loved most about Noah’s game was that he was a willing passer” and I completely agree. Noah averaged almost 3 assists per game from the center position!
Noah was at his best during the NCAA certified events in July. He filled up the stat sheet with 28 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks in a win against Hidden Gems at the Adidas Invitational. He also had 24 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block in the Gold Bracket Championship Game against Royal Knights Basketball (NC) at the All-In Hoopfest to lead our team to the tournament championship.
As good as Noah is right now, he hasn’t even scratched the surface of what he can become. I can’t wait to watch him continue to develop and play at Georgetown High School this season and at the next level. Congratulations Noah!
