The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Defensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the defensive end of the court. This player through effort, hard work, and ability, is able to disrupt the opposing team and take them out of their offense by shutting down his opponent one-on-one or contributing to his team's success with great help side defense. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2019 6th Grade Boys (Bryant) Best Defensive Player Award is Noah Kearns from Goshen Middle School!

Noah was one of our team leaders in rebounds and steals this season. He plays with an aggressive, physical mentality that creates problems for opposing teams. His athletic ability, effort, and sheer desire earned our team several extra possessions this season. Noah is a versatile defender that can guard multiple positions and his “next play” attitude was a huge factor in our team’s success. As Noah continues to grow and develop his game the sky is the limit! Congratulations Noah!
