The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team; but is also willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2019 7th Grade Boys (Moore) Best Offensive Player Award is Elisha Jones from Little Miami Junior High School!
Elisha is a player that can score the ball in a variety of ways. His strongest move is breaking his man down off the dribble and powering through help defenders to get to the basket. As the season progressed, he became more comfortable on the perimeter shooting 3’s and became a consistent offensive threat for our team. Elisha brings it every day whether it’s practice or a game. He is a well-rounded player that rebounds, plays defense, and is very coachable. I’m excited to see Elisha continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Elisha!
