The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for his team; but is also willing to share the basketball and put his teammates in position to score. I am proud to announce that the winner of the 2019 9th Grade Boys (Garrett) Best Offensive Player Award is Luke Garrett from Eastern Brown High School!

Luke was our leading scorer (19.0 ppg) and he also led our team in three-pointers made (100), free throws made (105), free throws attempted (125), and was second in free throw percentage (84%) this season. He also played his best in big moments. Our team made it to four tournament championship games and Luke average 25 ppg. in those contests. He also had four 30-point games (39, 38, 31, and 30 points). Simply put, Luke was a scoring machine. I’m excited to see Luke continue to improve as a basketball player! Congratulations Luke!
