The Ohio Crossover Athletics Most Valuable Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on both ends of the floor and is indispensable to the team's overall success. The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Offensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the offensive end of the court. This player not only has the ability and confidence to take and make big shots for their team; but is also willing to share the basketball and put their teammates in positions to score. The Ohio Crossover Athletics Best Defensive Player Award is given to a player who exemplifies excellence on the defensive end of the court. This player through effort, hard work, and ability can disrupt the opposing team and take them out of their offense by shutting down their opponent one-on-one or contributing to their team's success with great help side defense. These improvements are not only based on statistics, but also include the player's mental approach, intensity, and the will to win that they brings to each and every game.
